From Frustration to Innovation:
Reinventing the Phone Case.

Ameer Borkaai didn't set out to start a company. He just wanted a phone case that wasn't "dumb plastic." This is the story of how a simple frustration sparked a hardware revolution.

The "Dumb Plastic" Problem

It started in a tech store in Canada. Looking at a wall of hundreds of phone cases, Ameer Borkaai realized something frustrating: they were all the same.

"You had two choices," Ameer recalls. "Cheap, flimsy plastic that yellows in a month, or 'premium' cases that cost $50+ but are still just... static plastic. I felt that the phone, this incredible supercomputer we carry everywhere, deserved better. It should reflect the owner's elegance and mood, not just be covered by a piece of rubber."

This wasn't just about aesthetics; it was about utility. Why is the back of the phone dead space? Why can't it be a canvas?

"We are not just selling accessories; we are giving users technological freedom."

A Digital Canvas, Not a Case

The vision for Tsmart was clear: create a "smart surface" that requires no batteries, adds minimal bulk, and allows for instant customization.

"I wanted to give the user a second screen," Ameer explains. "Right now, it's about art and self-expression. But the vision is technical. In the future, this surface will display time, widgets, notifications, and health data. We are building a platform, not a product."

One Case is Enough

Beyond technology, Tsmart addresses a massive environmental issue. The "fast fashion" of tech accessories creates tons of plastic waste annually as users buy new cases for new looks.

"Our philosophy is simple: One case is enough." Ameer states. "You shouldn't have to buy a new physical object just to change a color or pattern. Access to new designs should be digital, instant, and affordable. It's better for the user's wallet, and infinitely better for the planet."
